Five Kids Ages 12-16 Charged With Killing Nashville Rock Band Singer

This is a truly heartbreaking story.

Nashville police officers have charged five juveniles with criminal homicide after the death of 24-year-old Kyle Yorlets. He was shot outside of his home on Thursday (2-7-19) after being robbed of his wallet. It is suspected he was shot for refusing to hand over his car keys.

The juveniles are three girls and two boys ages 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. The kids over 13 are the ones who have been identified.

All five were arrested later that night in a stolen Chevrolet Colorado with the murder weapon and an additional gun stolen from a Wal-Mart.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the family of Kyle Yorlets to help with the unexpected loss of their son. He was a member of local Nashville band Carverton. Our hearts are broken for the family of Kyle Yorlets for this awful tragedy.
