Dierks Bentley and Elle King are teaming up to host the “Music Event of the Summer.” This year’s star-studded CMA Fest is hailed as “a party you won’t want to miss,” packed with performances by some of the biggest stars in country music throughout the three-hour special. That includes performances by hosts Bentley and King.
The hosting gig comes at the heels of a new collaboration from Bentley and King, “Worth A Shot.” The duet follows their 2016 hit, “Different For Girls.” Bentley said he “can’t believe it’s been 6 years since our last song together,” as he and King debuted “Worth A Shot.”
The highly-anticipated festival is packed with performances by Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Carly Pearce, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band and tons of other artists.
CMA Fest is hailed as “the longest-running Country Music festival in the world,” with some of the proceeds benefiting the CMA Foundation “and their mission to shape the next generation through high quality music education. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to participate in music.” See a breakdown of the schedule — broken down by time and by place, including the Chevy Riverfront Stage and Nissan Stadium, among others — here.
CMA Fest is set to air on Wednesday, August 3 at 8 p.m. on ABC. See the announcement here:
