Luke Combs Wrote Over 50 Songs While Stuck At Home During Pandemic

Luke Combs has been blessing fans with all kinds of new songs on his social media during the pandemic. Today he really made everyone's day when he dropped the deluxe version of his album dropped earlier this year What You See Ain't Always What You Get. He stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk about the new music, perform some of his big hits, and share some recent stories.

While talking about the deluxe album, Combs shared that he wrote anywhere from 40 to 50 songs while being stuck at home during the pandemic. Though, he only added a few new ones to the deluxe version. His reasoning for putting out so many songs during the pandemic was for his fans. He wanted to do the songs for them and since he's been bored, he decided why not.

On TikTok, there's a trend where people are sharing their stories with a "Where It Started/Where It's At" to show their beginning and their success currently. Combs participated in the challenge showing that he started playing in bars versus now to where he's playing in stadiums. Combs shared that he was always very confident and believed in himself, but he never thought he'd be at this point in his career now. He never believed he'd be setting records. He currently has 9 number 1s and is holding the most CMA Award nominations this year with 6 nominations. Though, Combs confessed he has never had a "Thank You" speech prepared. He believes it's a superstitious thing. He also added that he's never forgotten to thank someone, but he joked someone probably thinks he has.

Before he left, Luke Combs performed three of his biggest hits "Better Together," "Cold As You," and "Lovin' On You." Watch below!
