Luke Combs just dropped a new video for his latest single, "Even Though I'm Leaving" which simply features black and white footage of Combs' performing the song live at a show.
The single was written by Combs himself alongside Wyatt B. Durrette and Ray Fulcher and is featured on Combs' 2019 EP, The Prequel. "Even Though I'm Leaving" is a heartfelt song that'll hit home for anyone who has lost, or is missing their dad or any loved one.
"Just 'cause I'm leavin' / It don't mean that I won't be right by your side / When you need me / And you can't see me in the middle of the night / Just close your eyes and say a prayer / It's okay, I know you're scared when I'm not here / But I'll always be right there / Even though I'm leavin', I ain't goin' nowhere," Combs sings from the bottom of his heart in the chorus.
Combs is shooting for his seventh consecutive No. 1 single with "Even Though I'm Leaving" following up his latest No. 1 single, "Beer Never Broke My Heart." Additionally previous hits include, "Beautiful Crazy," "She Got The Best Of Me," "One Number Away," "When It Rains It Pours," and "Hurricane."
Recently Combs revealed that his new album will drop this fall on November 8. No album title or track listing has been revealed yet, but stay tuned for more details to come.
Combs' will continue his sold-out "Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour" on September 21 in Wisconsin. In the meantime, check out his latest music video for his single, "Even Though I'm Leaving" below.
