WATCH: Cats Detect Earthquake Before It Hits

This is crazy!  It's a video of surveillance footage in a "cat cafe," and you can see the cats start to freak out a few seconds before the rooms starts shaking...as if they could sense an earthquake was about to hit!  The earthquake in Osaka, Japan turned out to be a 6.1, and the poor little kitties seem on edge, some looking for refuge.  Watch the video here:

Among scientists, there's a theory that many creatures feel what's called a "p wave" shaking, which precedes tremblors of an earthquake.  Humans aren't able to notice these p waves, but it certainly seems that these cats can!

None of the cats were injured in the earthquake, which tragically killed five people and hurt hundreds more. The kitties are all available for adoption. Head here to learn more about them.
